Vision

We’ve spent years reading Scripture alongside people who care deeply about their faith but feel worn down by how loud and fast everything around it has become. At the same time, many of them are trying to make sense of a text whose world is rarely taught anymore. The Jewish context, the first-century setting, the way these writings were originally heard, much of that has quietly fallen out of view, and there aren’t many places to go looking for it.

Our work centers on the Jewish roots of the Christian faith and the world of the early church. Much of our study stays close to the first-century setting of the text and the Hebraic ways of thinking that shaped it. We return to that context often, not to make a point, but to see what we might have missed.

Reading Scripture this way often brings Jesus (Yeshua), the Messiah, back into clearer view, not as an idea, but as someone rooted in a particular time and place, whose way of life still presses into today.

We spend our time making materials for careful reading for people studying on their own or doing more detailed research. And for groups that want to stay close to Scripture. As a nonprofit, we keep these resources available at little to no cost. When there is revenue, it goes back into charitable work with people who are rebuilding, searching, or holding steady through a difficult stretch.

If spending time with Scripture in its first-century setting is something you’re drawn to, you can read and learn alongside us.
